The fire-retardant busway has the conductive function of ordinary busway and can ensure circuit integrity for a certain period under the flame status. Our fire-retardant busway can satisfy both Chinese standard of GB7251.2 and the GA/T537-2005. The conductor surface is wrapped with more than 3 layers of mica tape for insulation (heat resistance is ≥ 1100°C) and silicon cotton (heat resistance is ≥1600°C) is used between conductor and shell for thermal insulation. The shell is made of high-quality steel plate and the surface is derusted, degreased, provided with phosphating, dried and followed by electrostatic spraying of fire-retardant powders to prevent combustion of shell under flame status. The shell is provided with internal and external slot to avoid direct and indirect combustion of conductor and insulation damage and ensure necessary protection grade and circuit integrity under spraying status.
